Alright people !! The man is back !! And I got some updates to do before David starts polluting my chatbox lolx .. Well, 1 year of uni is over .. So damn fast rite ?? It feels like just last month when I handed up my application to Monash and now, 1 year is already gone !! 2 more years and I'll be working .. It feels like it was just last month when I packed all my stuff and move to Monash Hostel where I find Beng Siang to be my roommate - What a coincidence !!

And talking about hostel, this is where my story starts. Every hostelites will pray hard to get a good room mate and house mates which don't play play as in siau siau, smoke, dirty, weird and alot more disgusting stuff la, u name it .. This is where my horror starts .....

Fovourite subject : Maths eventhough he suck at it .. Really really suck at it !! He doesn't know form 3 stuff !! i.e. draw y=mx+c graphs !!

This guy here ........ is just weird ........ It's beyond your wildest imagination

This is what he does every time .. He can stand there for like 5 minutes before knocking your door and all his questions are weird i.e. "What time do you wake up", "How tall are you", "Do you eat raw eggs", "What gel do you use" and alot more weird stuff that I can't be bothered to remember ..

His most famous line, " Do you eat raw eggs ?"

He eat eggs everyday !! Cos eggs got protein that can help build his muscles and you know what ?? He only eat raw eggs !! and with what ?? Raw eggs mixed with oats which he prepared with cold water .. Try imagine that :)

All the above belongs to him ..

His daily 3-4 cups of high protein milk diet ..

This makes his urine (He doesn't flush after he pees) yellow and damn smelly .. Talking about smelly, my other 2 room mate, leslie and ss kept complaining that their toilet stinks because of him and the dining area is always filled with his after meal rubbish which he doesn't throw away or wash his dishes which makes the whole area messy, smelly and full with ants !!

Management Lecture : The Planning Function & more of it

Well, this Monash Auditorium which can easily fit 350 students according to the Monash website but according to my calculation, it can fit around 400 students .. This is management & the lecturer, Dr. Elaine Chew is awesome .. Everyone loves her jokes & her stories from Japan where she "borrowed someones bicycle without permission" and ride it to her University where she completed her doctorate there and return it at the place she found it the next day .. About 95% of her stories of management is somehow related to Japan & it's culture .. All the videos she shown us on YouTube is also Japanese based.

Ok back to the picture, 3 volunteers are out there to make an Egg sandwich *uneatable* within ermm 5 minutes if I'm not mistaken. As you can see, it's such a mess !! A mini experiment that proves that the so called 'planning function' is not used when making the sandwich .. Anyone who volunteers to eat that will have to spend his/her time in the toilet..

1 week before my exam starts, My whole unit which is on the 23rd floor, is required to move to 10th floor !! wtf ?? My view from the balcony is like so funktastic de !! can see Sunway University College, Sunway Lagoon, Taylors University College, Sunway Pyramid & also the Petronas Twin towers and now ................................ Damn !!

But .......... When we went to the office, they kinda put us in 17th floor but only for the 4 of us ( me, andy & the two monkeys below) lolx .. Dont ask me why ..

Awwww !! So sad !! But small rooms got their advantage, it's cooler !! but who cares ?? we're living in a mansion !!

Well people, the room is super big !! The biggest you can find in Sun-U residence and we did not pay extra .. There's only 6 rooms in each girls' and guys' condo ..

Assume that there are 14 floors with 6 units with 3 twin sharing room, 6 floors with 5 units with 3 twin sharing rooms & 5 floors 4 units with 3 twin sharing rooms each, the probability of getting our room type would be 1/66 which is 0.015% of getting it .. Hehehehe I was too bored until I calculated it lolx

Big elephant vans here standby to send students to Kamunting Detention Center *WOoOoOo !! ISA !!* in case they wear black and protest in Monash Uni. According to news, they were students & ex-students of Mr. Wong that came here to make a mini demo for the arrest of Mr. Wong. Too bad the police stopped them ..

Life as a last-minute guy

Finally !! I got to online after 3 weeks and my Financial Accounting Assignment which consumes me the most time among all the other assignments had already finished !! Woohoo .... But not for long cos there are more assignments coming in soon :( .. Apparently, I have an assignment every week and not forgetting tutorial home works & catching up to do .. Damn it !! This is Uni life .. %#@&?

Many people (including my parents, siblings, relatives & even my dog!!) often have the thought that Undergrads majoring in Commerce & Economics are the least stressed up, enjoy their life to the max, carefree, (insert other relevant points ).. I, however strongly DiSaGrEe with that .. Don't belief me ?? Come and accompany me .. 3 days will do .. then you'll know :) ..

**For example, my Economics lecturer finished 3 long chapters (80+ slides each) in just 2 hours .. every week, a new chapter covered !!

Okay, back to the main reason I blog in between studies & assignments .. I had started doing my assignments like 3 weeks back before the due date ..

1 week before the due date : I went to David for help .. He did but still got loads to do especially the useless MYOB ..

2 days before the due date : I still couldn't balance my 10 Column worksheet .. Luckily David helped again .. Thx bro ..

1 day before the due date : Still got problem balancing my income statement & dunno what shit la .. Forget de .. Went to Anthony for help .. He did help but still not finished yet ..

God Bless me !!

D-day !!!! : Still haven't finished !! $%&#@? !! Did it together with Anthony until 4:45pm !! Due time at 5:oopm .. When we left to take a lift down from my condo, 2 out of the 3 lifts stopped working and the other one working.. But is at level 8 and going down %$#&# !! Well, what other choices do we have ?? We ran down 23 floors !! And we're not alone !! We met Arif & another girl when we're in 18th floor .. Not bad !! When we reached ground floor ........... The world is mine !! It's spinning 360 & everyone else was staring at us cos we're running like a mad dog .. We catch a cab in front of our Condo & off we go !!

As soon as we reach Uni, we're running into the Business & Economics faculty building and surprisingly there are more to come .. You can see many ppl ( pretty, ugly, sexy, nerdy, tall, short .. You name it !!) rushing into the lifts, looking worried while sweating & holding a thick stapled sheets of papers .. What else ?? Accounting assignment la lolx .. 5th Floor it is !! Surprisingly it was crowded with students who are like me : do last-minute work lolx .. I don't know how many of them but more and more are coming in to drop their assignments in their respective boxes ..

At laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssttttttttttttttt ....................... It's finally over !! But not for long !! Econs assignment to be handed up next Monday .. Arrgh !! Gotta continue with my work :) Chaos !! It was ...... really a great experience & I never wanted to be in that position ever again !!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaa .. I finally updated my blog after 2 weeks ? Haha Hehe Hoho, I was very busy with homework, assignments & got lots of catching up to do so .. Don't blame me :) ..

I got back to Penang yesterday by firefly with Ah Beng .. Reached Pg Airport at 5:30pm and headed back home to get my new Dell XPS laptop lolx !! That's my main reason of coming home besides going for "Cheng Beng" & get together with my dear family lolx and I'm going home tomorrow, departing at 7:20pm.. And any of you fly with firefly before ?? These will be your description after flying with it .. It's slightly bigger than a typical tour bus .. The differences is - it have wings with propellers & it's speed is 5x more than a bus .. Not bad for a budget airline .. I'm yet to see LCCT & Airasia ..

Since David wanted to see my room SOOOoooo much, here it is !! It's nothing much tho.. Tadaa !!

The ASUS mini laptop is soon gonna replaced by my new Dell ..

Last Post before I leave Penang

This would be the last post before I leave Penang to KL : Monash University .. Bon Voyage !!

Hopefully everything will be smooth sailing there ..

Today, Met up with David & Loon .. David suggested a final outing since we're leaving to KL .. So this was it, Went to fetch tukau Loon from his house since he takde transport & as usual la, he's always ''still sleeping'' & need to ''Morning Call'' him before he's all set .. Then went to collect Juli's birthday present in somewhere deserted, hopes she likes it .. Loon got lame as usual, took someone's car key by mistake & got caught by the owner himself .. Had a good laugh there .. Reached GP at about 12pm and waited for David to come .. Had lunch in Nandos & watched Pink Panther 2 !! The movie's so freaking funny .. I think I laughed the loudest there lolx .. Had much fun there ..

These were the mischievous little things that we did during high school, Saint Xavier's Institution .. The videos below are dedicated to those involved in these mischievous acts ..

About the video above :
We were a group of students from 5Sc1 who hates to study & follow teacher's instruction .. So this is what we do in Chemistry lab .. It is one of the few dangerous things we 'played' besides playing ' Flying matchsticks', mixing Paracetamol into 10mol/dm3 Concentrated Sulphuric Acid, Electrolyse coins & metals , Building mini campfire with burning splinter at the back of the lab & many many more !!

In the experiment above, the common equation we learnt when Magnesium strip / Mg is reacted with Sulphuric Acid / H2SO4 will produce Magnesium Sulphate/ MgSO4 & Hydrogen gas H2 .. But since the Sulphuric acid is highly concentrated i.e. 10mol/dm3 , the reaction somehow changes *Forgotten de* and gives out oxides of Sulphur & it's poisonous and we 'IdIoTs' are still having fun there & laughing all the way :)

A little biography about him ...
Lee-Hom (Alexander) Wang was born in Rochester, New York on 17 May 1976. Three years later, he began to sing. Lee-Hom learnt to play the violin and the piano at a young age, and was involved in plays and musicals, including Kiss Me Kate, Briyadoor and Music Man, throughout his school career. He studied music at Williams College in Massachusetts and Berklee College of Music. Lee-Hom received a MA in Jazz Piano & Composition at Berklee College. He is active in all areas of musical production, including composing, producing, arranging pieces, writing lyrics, playing instrumental accompaniments, and directing his own music videos.

Okay, I blog cos I need $$$ from the advertisement by Nuffnang .. Even though it's a small sum of money to some of you, it's alot to me .. I'm broke for now :(

Last week = boring week .. Practically done nothing interesting except for painting the house .. Nope !! I don't do the paintings .. My dad hired some fat ass guy who calls himself "Ah Beng" to paint the house .. When he first came, he looks like a guy who is very responsible, hardworking & will do anything to make sure we're satisfied .. But after a while, he showed his true colours .. He was one lazy pig who grumbles a lot over small matters (lazy to explain) & very calculative .. Every day, he'll bug my dad for money and it's like 2k+ .. Reason ?? Not enough money to buy ICI paint .. Nahh !! There's Ah Beng !! The big, fat, dark lazy guy ..

Ai Chia, the one that beat me twice (%#@$*?!^}) is feeding herself with delicious Food in Japan ..

Last week, I was in better luck .. I beat everyone in Singles by luck .. I gotta deuce trice with David to cun cun beat him .. He was good, very good !! Ex-School player maa .. Beat him by luck .. Vishal is kuailan as usual .. Always finding ppl's weakness & kill them with it .. Another good ex-school player .. I had a very hard time playing with them .. Mahesh on the other hand was Siau-Siau .. I beat him 11-3 in the first game and he grew stronger in the 2nd game & nearly beat me .. Of course !! I won !! 14-12 ..

Today, Bad Bad luck !! Everytime a return a ball, it will get the net or will either slide on the out-line .. We (Vishal & me) lost 4-2 to them (Mahesh & David) ..

Firstly, A'Levels Exams just concluded .. Yeay !! No more stupid exams !! No more pre-exam stress !! No more sleepless nights !! Last but not least , No more Books !! Yeay !! *Jumps up*

This post is mainly about what happened last year in EEC .. As you know or haven't know , I was the Deputy President of the club .. And I have some confessions to be made here ..

*Why Join the Electronics Club ??

1. The easiest Club to get Deputy President in Saints.
2. The only Club in Saints that have a room on it's own.
3. Biggest private Club Room in Saints.
4. To keep & hide my stuffs i.e. Handphones , Underwear(in case David "Veggie" me) , Books , Food , pillow , towel , clothes , PS2 , radio , CDs & many more.
5. The best place to ponteng in Saints.
6. The coolest place to sleep in Saints.

*How the 'Hell' did I became EEC No.2 in 1 day ??

Muahahaha .. Surprise !! Surprise !! lmao .. Well it was rather a long story .. It started in January 2007 .. I realised that I was not holding any post in any clubs & I would be in hot boiling soup when I'm applying for scholarships & universities .. And coincidentally , I heard Jey Sern said that the Club's Deputy is resigning b'cos he cant tolerate the teacher advisor, Datin Hajah Mahidah , said to be the proudest, strictest & 'hard-to-work-with' teacher in whole of Saint Xavier's Inst .. She's one of the few teachers that Saints students feared most ..

So I took this opportunity to grab the post as it is the only vacant Deputy post in the school although I had to see Datin every meeting .. I had a long talk with Jey sern & yeah !! I was EEC No.2 on the First Meeting unless there are people who wanna challenge me for the post .. Unfortunately , 2 person came for the post on that day .. It was Viknesh & Tatt Wei .. So we had to hold an election and we had 5 minutes each to campaign , just like the recent 13th Malaysian Election .. The 3 of us campaigned in the small room ( all gila-gila ) .. I did something different from them tho .. I promised them interesting activities & games throughout the year .. I even promised them candies & sweets if I'm elected Deputy ..

Wen Yang -36 !!!!!!

Wooi Wen Yang won by 17 votes majority & therefore elected the New Deputy President of Electronics Club .. Vik got the Deputy Secretary while Tatt got Secretary .. The secretary before the election was demoted to a lower rank cos Datin believed 5Sc1 students will lead the club better ..

*The first thing I did was

-Duplicate all the Club Keys
-Keeping my promise to give my 'kids' mentos & Gummy Bears ..
-Change the Club's lame name " Electronics Club" to "Electrical & Electronics Engineering Club" Haha .. Sounds more professional lolx ...
-Give my club a slogan/motto/logo which is "Explore Your Dexterity" means Explore your ability in handling electronic stuff ..

*Why did they elect me ??

-B'cos I'm the most serious 1 there ??

-B'cos i bribed them with mentos & Gummy Bears ?? [ The ACA wont catch me for corruption :) ]

-B'cos I'm handsome ?? Ceh !! Perasan !!

*From Deputy to President ?? How can this happen ??

Well .. This happens during Datin's Farewell .. Jey Sern made some mistakes (not to be mentioned) & Datin's son, Adip who was F5 rep, saw the incident & complained to mummy at home .. I don't really know what he told mummy BUT the very next day, early in the morning , Datin made a surprised visit to the club .. She never come in the morning before .. Luckily I was not snoring away or else I would be fired too .. Thank God !! My Add Maths homework saved my life ..

She came & speak to me privately .. She told me that she intended to remove Jey Sern off his post for his mistakes & asked me to take over effectively .. But I thought that that sacking Jey Sern would be so not fair since he contributed so much for the club .. So I proposed to give him a chance but Datin declined and said that his minor mistakes were unacceptable .. So finally , I managed to console Datin to let Jeysern to switch post with me until hand-over .. She agreed and they lived happily ever after ... THE END ...

Ok! Confession time : We were caught by Pn.Low for not attending boring Sakun's class .. We never get caught before cos we're smart enough to escape .. We skipped assembly since May & been skipping physics classes a very very long time ago .. Sorry Datin, but at least I managed to give you an A1 for physics .. "Right cancels wrong" theory is applicable here lolx ..

We were caught simply b'cos some1 dumb got tricked by Pn.Low & Pn.Aishah .. The teachers claimed to see us in school during assembly at 7.30a.m. BUT ... We were in the Club house before 7a.m. , No teachers had seen us and we never get out of the club since ... We told this particular guy to cover us & tried convincing him that NO SOUL in ths school hav seen us BUT ... He got tricked by teachers AND took the teachers to our sacred place ........... Speechless............After We, the ones that brought EEC to glory again retired, The club is back to it's initial bad, dirty, smelly, corrupted state ..

*Other Confessions

-David got full attendance & was the Executive Committee when he didn't even attend a single meeting ..

-I brought my handphone to school everyday since March & never get caught .. Pro !!

-I know NOTHING about Electronics stuff ..

-Whenever there's a spot check, I'll quickly hide my phone & liquid papers in my club..

-I was caught by the ex-President for Bullshitting during my lectures .. But I convinced him that what I did was right & he believed me .. Dumb Head !! He thinks he's so bloody Smart in Physics .. He talks with a slang .. Slammed on the table to object me while I was teaching .. Sneered at me & talk bad about me to Datin.. BUUUTT too bad .. U got A2 for physics , I got A1 .. Loser !!

-I sleep in my club every morning since I reach school at 6:30 a.m..

-I misused alot of my powers ..

-We used the treasurer's money to enjoy ourselves in Pizza Hut , bought a radio & some other unimportant stationaries & tools lolx ..

-I charged my phone in my Club ..

-Chia Loon did something bad in my club ( U know what I'm talking about ) lolx ..

-I had my breakfast, brunch, Lunch & Tea time in my club ..

-Jey Sern used to store foods (Junk Food) in EEC .. Some1 I knew broke his locker to steal his food for us .. He's the Robbin Hood back then .. Thanks alot lolx ..

-I had more lockers than anyone else in the club ..

-Loon & I were caught walking inside the club by a teacher during assembly .. She seen us & called the prefects to search us .. B'cos the club is locked from outside ( If there's fire, we'll die ) , they finally concluded that there is no1 in since the club is locked from outside .. We, Escaped Again !! Pro !!

-I played with flying matches inside the Club .. (never seen b4 , I'll demo for u 1 day)

-Loon, David & I skipped assembly every Friday since May to avoid hair-check .. Thats why my hair is long lolx ..

-Jey Sern pole dance in EEC before .. I still have the video & I'm gonna post it up lolx ..

-Datin strictly checks our Club Accounts occasionally .. We managed to pull through the loss of money by merely writing a receipt from nowhere lolx..

***Can't think of anymore offences right now, to be updated frequently .. To be continued .................................. And thanks for dropping by & your courtesy to read till the end........

BTW, If u're wondering why isn't there any picture of Jey Sern , the answer is simple : He was nerding all the way in F5 & barely taken any pictures with him .. Next time dude

Price of Petrol increases again ...

The government has just announced that petrol price will go up by 78 sen at midnight - a 40.6 percent jump from RM1.92 per litre to RM2.70.

The price of diesel will go up RM1, or 63.3 percent - from RM1.58 per litre to RM2.58.

The price hikes are among government measures to cut the spiralling bill for oil subsidies, which is expected to amount to RM56 billion this year.

At a press conference, Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi also announced that the government plans to offer rebates to motorists to offset the fuel price increase.not bad

Under the scheme, vehicles below 2000cc(2 litres) will receive a RM625 rebate annually to compensate for 800 litres of fuel used under the new price.

Meanwhile, motorbikes will be given a rebate of RM120. The money will be paid by postal order.

Rebate will be paid when motorists renew the road-tax for their vehicles.

However, the government is slowly expected to head towards totally abolishing the fuel subsidy.

If petrol is to be sold at full market prices, it could be as high as almost RM4 a litre - about 50 percent above current levels.

Since 2004, petrol has gone up by 97.1 percent, while diesel increased by a whopping 231 percent [see chart below].

Higher TNB tariffs

Abdullah also announced that the road tax for vehicles above 2,000cc will be reduced by RM200. For motorbikes above 250cc, their road tax will be slashed by RM50.

The premier also announced a price hike in gas supply for electrical and industry sectors.

The premier further said that the electricity tariffs too would be increased.

He added that the power tariff rate would remain the same for households which use about 200 kilowatt of electricity, which would still cost them RM43.60.

Any usage beyond this would fall under the new price which will be announced by power supplier Tenaga Nasional soon.

I would have lost about 15-18 marks for Physics Practical if Mr. Tan Eng Huat didn't check & Mr.Tan Chuan Huat didn't tell me my BIG mistake !! Thanks alot to him .. Without him , Joel & I would have just failed Physics Paper 31 !! It was our lucky day ..

The story goes like this >> Joel & I sat in front in lab during the pulley experiment b'cos we're the first & second on the name list .. I finished the experiment 15 minutes before time so i looked around , dreaming as usual .. Then suddenly out of no where , Mr. Tan Eng Huat brought his "just-finished" experiment report and compared with my answers. ( Lecturers got to make sample answers for Cambridge as a sample for them to refer ) I looked at him & expect him to say nothing but unfortunately , he did .. He pointed at my graph & said

" There's something wrong with your graph "

"Should be like this (showed his graph)[LEFT]
not like this (pointed at my graph)[RIGHT]"

WTH ?? !! Something shouted inside my head .. I turned to the right to look at Joel's Graph .. It was the same as mine .. So what's wrong ?? Mr.Tan Eng Huat looked at Joel's graph .. He shook his head & instantly ran to his 'twin' who is happily drinking his hot coffee while talking to his fellow Lab assistants inside Chemistry Lab .. He whispered something to him .. As expected , Mr.Tan Chuan Huat got excitedly nervous & ran to me .. He looked at my paper & said

Where Where ?? Aiyohhh ! .. Why your angle so small only ?? Should be more than 90* . U see here , here !! Measure from here , you see here, not there .. Faster Faster cancel & redo !!

Haiyohh!! .. Only 5 minutes left .. Faster faster , you don't have enough time . Aiyohhhhh

I realised my extremely stupeed mistake [ I measured the other angle ] & quickly changed my answers .. Luckily it only took me about 5 minutes to redo the whole experiment .. I just have to take 180* & deduct every answers & redraw the graph .. Wow !! Lucky me .. Without him , I would probably failed this paper lolx .. He's the best .. He's the man .. I owe him 1 .. At least now I did not fail !! Yeay !!

Today , Chemistry Paper 2 & Statistics .. Chemistry was OK except for the last question .. Well, I didn't bother to read up about Tollen's reagent ( in Biology as a food test ) cos I didn't think that it was important .. The front questions was quite OK .. Stats, on the other hand , was better than those in the past years .. It was crazy as well .. Simple questions for 3 marks & tough questions for 2 marks .. The Permutation & Combination [my worst nightmare] questions was very easy .. Easier than i had ever done from past years .. Try doing the past years & you'll cry for sure .. This msg is specially for ppl who's math is not-so-good ...

At last I finally get to rest for a while as my next exam is on the 11th of June .. Still a long way to go .. Got to get back to "business" ..

Thanks to Jeremy's smart idea to stay back ) . And guess what , She even *checked through* some of my paper to make sure that I answered it correctly .. Hehehe , very good hor .. The best Biology teacher ever .. Thanks a lot teacher !! I owe you 1

Last week's Virgin Maths paper was good !! Better than trials but unfortunately i did a same exact mistake I did on trials ... The 2 equal roots thingy .. I forgotten dat its suppose to be b^2-4ac =0 but i wrote there b^2-4ac>0 .. Nvm only 3/4 marks .. No worries ..

I screwed up GP as I answered the question which i don't really understand it .. And the worst part is , The air-cond broke down .. Imagine the situation inside with unpleasant smells from sweating candidates & the tension on their faces .. Stressful ..
